A Vietnam Holiday on the Beach - Travel - EzineMark

Relax on a Vietnam Holiday

With the country?s long coastline and great climate, relaxing on an unspoiled beach is the perfect way to spend your Vietnam holiday. Head over to the southern areas for the best in hot white sand, clear waters and tranquil surroundings - just waiting for you to stretch out and soak up the rays. If you?re planning on making your Vietnam holiday all about the beach, then optimal visiting times are between the months of May and October when the weather is just perfect for those lazy days beside the sea. Although, you may find it a tad too hot and humid in July and August, plus these months also pose the threat of regular downpours, typhoons and, of course, overcrowding as the prime holidaying period gets underway.

Cua Dai Beach

If you like a good swim in the sea, Cua Dai beach is perfect.

With its tide gently lapping at the shore and its sandy dunes, Cau Dai is a large and popular beach that offers all the trappings of a modern day out at the seaside on your Vietnam holiday. Inflatables, deck chairs, shady umbrellas and scores of food and drink outlets are readily available, although the area has not yet become too commercialised. Just south of Danang, the area is also home to a great little town, Hoi An, and so, if you need a break from the sun, you can take a gentle stroll around seeing the sights on offer. An excellent way to relax on your Vietnam holiday.

Island Visits on Your Vietnam Holiday

If you want a rest from all the hustle and bustle of city life on a Vietnam holiday, embark on a trip to one of the country?s idyllic islands to experience a feeling secluded peace and tranquility.

Phu Quoc Island, around 50kms from Vietnamese mainland, boasts warm waters flowing in from the Gulf of Thailand and tropical-like surroundings to make this an awesome beach to visit. Book a snorkeling or scuba diving trip with the friendly locals and get a glimpse of what the scenery is like underwater. Go to Whale Island and stay in the secluded bungalows set right on the beachfront. Walk amongst the coconut trees and delight in the ultimate getaway offering real rest and relaxation. Although a fairly long journey to reach Whale Island awaits you ? two-hour drive from Nha Trang, followed by a two-hour boat ride ? the haul it well worth it. For here you can truly experience the best a Vietnam holiday can offer. ?
