Trolley Tra-La-La, la la, la, la?
Everybody, sing along, now!? It will soon be time for the 7th Annual Tybee Island Christmas Caroling Trolley.? On December 15th,?our Tybee?community hops aboard?the trolley to spread singing joy throughout the island. This year?s sponsor and meeting location is Marlin Monroe?s @ 404 Butler Avenue.? Our gathering of carolers?at 5pm and the Caroling Trolley will depart at 6pm ? rain or shine. Flashlights are recommended.? One trolley will be transporting this year, so be sure to buy tickets early!

Dune Our Thing went through a full restoration in 2011, so it still has all of its original?historic charm with the best of modern conveniences.? The beach is two and a half short blocks away from this lovely?home that?s?located on one of the best and quietest residential streets on Tybee Island.? 2nd Avenue is one of Tybee?s designated bicycle paths and traffic on 2nd Avenue is minimal, even during high season.
It is wonderful to sit on the porch and see pedicabs, families and even the curious bicycle powered rolling bar pass by.? The covered porch has two ceiling fans, an Adirondack chair with foot rest, a comfy rocker, and a table that seats four.? This is a great place for the children to eat or the entire family can enjoy one of the many board games provided in the house.
Please feel welcome to enjoy the hammock in the shade in the front yard, and children can play?tether-ball.? We have left two small beach chairs, some toys, and a beach cart in the garage for your use.? We have two vintage green chairs and a rocker on the cement pad in front of the house for you to sit in?while grilling or watching children play.? A charcoal grill is provided inside the garage.
