The New Dollar Tree Economy ? Nordic Sage

The majority of whites who have jobs now are either working for minimum wage, on unemployment, living off of savings OR working 2 jobs. The Dollar Tree, Dollar General and the .99 cent store in the West Coast are thriving. The Dollar Tree just had a stock split recently. I just talked to a friend last night in the West Coast. She said the .99 cent store is packed all the time.

Many of the Dollar Tree stores accept food stamp EBT cards. If you?re making minimum wage or about 8-10 an hour, it?s really all you can afford.

I know there are white women and men out there who read this blog and are having a hard time. I feel your pain. I?ve been there.

Until the economy collapses we have to trudge along and make the best of it. My suggestions for a healthier life?

You don?t have to workout out at a gym to stay healthy and trim. I workout at home 5 days a week. I have a plethora of exercise tapes to workout with. The good thing about working out at home is no drive time to the gym. Just put on ratty clothes and go. In my collection I have exercise bands, dyna bands, a step bench and a 2,5, and 8 pound weight set. I also download a lot of food workout shows on some of the YT channels I watch. I use keepvid.com to download my YT videos on my hard drive. When I?m traveling I play them on my android.

Become an extreme couponer. A new book out called ?Pick another checkout lane honey? on Amazon (the kindle version is cheap). I?m reading the book right now and it?s fabulous. I borrowed if from my library to preview it. I?m going to buy the book for keeps.

Shop clearance first. All the end caps have incredible deals at Walmart or Target. I find incredible deals on the clearance racks. Don?t buy them just to buy them. Only buy the clearance items you use.

Shop the Goodwill stores. We had to buy a few items for the kitchen at our summer cabin. I bought a George Foreman grill for $4.99. It cooks everything and doubles as a panini maker. This one Goodwill I go to is great. They have a bunch of VHS tapes for .79 each. I just recently bought the Lord of the Rings on VHS. I?ve never watched that show.

Garage sales are worth a look. Many people are downsizing their homes so they?re getting rid of the things on the cheap, like my .25 garage sale I went to last Saturday.

I bought Trivial Pursuit at Goodwill. We used to have neighbors and family over for board games. We?d play TP, Uno, Scrabble, etc. We used to have a lot of fun doing that. I?m going to start game night myself.

Until things fall apart and IMO they will (there is no mathematical way this can continue) we need to prep, survive, get healthy, get fit and eat right so we?re ready. Ready means not being a sitting duck. Ready means you can run for safety or walk great distances without falling apart.

If you?re smoking you need to quit. You?re just paying ZOG more money. I quit smoking 17 years ago through Nicotine Anonymous. I tried everything. Counting cigs, patches, hypnosis. NA was the only way I could do it.

Same thing with drinking. We don?t need a bunch of drunks. Bad for the gut, the skin and the liver. AA is all over the place. No excuses if you have a problem. An occasional drink is fine, but enough is enough.

Farmers market, victory garden or your own garden. No worries about mestizos or corporate agribusiness picking your veggies. You know what you get, organic pest free fruits and veggies.

I?ve been a frugal person all my life and I?m glad I was. My husband is frugal too. Being frugal now is considered cool. And that?s a good thing.
